The Hurricane

A story by Kessel, July 17, 2004

and dictated to his Dad

There is a new boat coming out this week. It is called The Hurricane. It is a smoking-free boat because it doesn’t have a fire extinguisher. Instead, it has a hose that is attached to the ground corner that sucks up the water and sprays it into the boat instead of spraying fire extinguishers all the time in a boat.

The whole bottom is under water so passengers could get a good look at the underwater world. It goes under a lot of bridges because passenger boats usually get a really good look at bridges and really like it. In the underwater world, someone might think that it’s actually an aquarium, but instead it’s a boat!

The boat carries a lot of fruits and vegetables because passengers usually like a lot of fruits and vegetables and boat-builders know that.

It has a music room, a picture room, a dancing room right under a door attached to the music room, a great fancy dining room, a bathroom, passenger cabins, a pool, an arcade, a library of course, a squash court, a basketball court, and a soccer court where visitors play soccer every once in a while, a captain-relax room, a movie room, and a writing or drawing room.

And the most important thing, it’s half plane too! There’s this alarm that goes off to warn people that it’s gonna set out its wings and go flying. It flies and sails through the whole United States.

This is the best boat-plane ever made. I can’t wait for people to get on it!
